She was crate trained and when taking her out of the cage, you didn't put her down until you were outside or else she immediately went right there. Perhaps you can litter box train him and keep a box on the balcony during the cold months? ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249087072631679631.post-23699099327786167692008-10-23T11:30:00.000-06:002008-10-23T11:30:00.000-06:00Listen to Torn. Our dog gets TWO outside visits a day (before breakfast and after dinner), and her body knows how to control her urges until the proper time.

Feeding Mason a high-quality protein dogfood (like Diamond's Premium Edge) will result in smaller meals and smaller, uh, output. Less need for outside visits. FWIW. I know how it goes --we just let ours run out the door and the new one Lola ( 5 months this week) doesnt like to poo in the rain-- she tends to do it on the welcome matt right outside the door! She is getting there though-- she will have to get over it as we live in Seattle and rain and winds is a given....RADhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14327199086953530789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249087072631679631.post-37881950254136535712008-10-22T07:55:00.000-06:002008-10-22T07:55:00.000-06:00There's a house up the street for sale with a fenc...There's a house up the street for sale with a fenced backyard!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249087072631679631.post-44596245482555677072008-10-22T05:15:00.000-06:002008-10-22T05:15:00.000-06:00Three times a day and ALWAYS at the same time. She has a knack of knwoing when I am involved in something and then will give me the "I gotta go out *NOW* or I'm gonna flood or soil the entire east coast!!!! NOW!". So I interrupt what I am doing and take her out - in possible freezing weather - only to have her sniff grass for a half hour and merrily bounce back into the house as if to say "it's too cold out here." Just line a pan of some sort with those disposable absorbant doggie pads for easy cleanup. It's worth a shot, and is very convenient if the pooch takes to it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249087072631679631.post-75136953230361440452008-10-21T20:30:00.000-06:002008-10-21T20:30:00.000-06:00i feel your pain, handsome...and we only have one ...i feel your pain, handsome...and we only have one flight...in one month, we will be opening the door and letting him run and sniff to his heart's content..woohoo!Breenlanternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17317914861018120156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249087072631679631.post-9915005130651105672008-10-21T19:52:00.000-06:002008-10-21T19:52:00.000-06:00Although I love dogs, that is the main reason I wo...Although I love dogs, that is the main reason I won't have a dog.
