Show and Tell

If I show you mine, will you show me yours? I've had mine since last fall and I'm loving it. It's thin, easy to hear on, rarely drops calls, works nearly everywhere, has the internet on it, shoots text and picture messages back and forth easily, and is loaded with all kinds of neat features. So, show us all yours, would you please? I've become such a tech-geek. I never thought I would.

I love mine! I've had it for several months now. I text A LOT so I love the slide out text keyboard. I stuck a pic. of it on my latest post (kind of fit in with the theme just so happens)! :)

I hate mine! It's a RAZOR. It was
the thing to get when I got it.
Now, I'm lucky if it holds a charge
for two days. I also have VERIZON
The 'Can you hear me now?' thing
is so UNTRUE! There are times when
I have NO reception.

I've had the same one for nearly five years now, an LG with Verizon.

I love my iPhone as you know!

I've got a Motorola i850 with Nextel. The phone and the coverage are average. Some dropped calls, some bad connections, 2-day battery life, nothing stellar. My work pays for it, though, so I can't complain.

I've got a Motorola V60i and Trac Fone service. Never a dropped call, and I can get a signal everywhere!

i am mr. anti-tech
my cell phone is a clunky old Nokia that merely makes and receives calls.
I would not have it but for my job.
Otherwise I am content with two dixie cups and some string.

I have a Sony Ericsson W810 (http://reviews.cnet.com/cell-phones/sony-ericsson-w810i-at/4505-6454_7-31661177.html?tag=prod.txt.1) and I like it because I can pop Memory Sticks in it and have up to 8 gigs of music on my phone. Still, if the iPhone was available in Canada, that would be my pick.

When did your cute as a button husband start commenting? Well his profile view has had one visitor.. Cool! I was the first!

Well thank God you have a "normal" phone! I hate the modern phones. They are so small and flimsy. I like a phone with big manly buttons that I don't have to dial with my pinky.

In fact, to be honest... I use a land line. I downgraded my cell phone plan, I don't have text messaging or photos, or internet. I use my phone for talking and my computer for surfing. There, the cat's out of the bag!

My phone is similar to yours only a Motorola. I plan on posting a photo too... I just now got around to posting the tattoo from your post last month... Oopsie :)

Have two (company paid for) mobiles - yes, I'm anal like that!

Nokia N70 with nice features that I never use - but good battery life, and a i-Mate K-JAM that drives me nuts, mostly because that connects to my email and it's contantly beeping! Do love the constant vibration in my pocket though - overshare?

I gave that phone to TheHusband for Christmas. Seems the number (keypad and on-screen) are a little larger to make up for the fact that his arms are getting shorter.

*ahem*

But I'm keeping it to the Internet, iPod, and cell phone only at this point. I don't have a TIVO yet, or an iPhone, or a Blackberry.

I don't want to become a COMPLETE slave to techonology now either do I?

I'm a Nokia E65. I like it a lot. It's the third phone in twelve months because I keep dropping them. Stoopid me.

I have the Pantech C3, billed as the smallest clamshell mobile. My friends refer to it as the Zoolander phone.

I love it. It surfs the net and takes pictures. It's simple and tiny and fits right into that wee little pocket that sits inside the right pocket of your jeans or cords. You know, I never had any use for that wee pocket until now. It's great!

Oh the techno-geek is the easiest form of geekdom for one to transcend to. I've a hunch the next level is a choice, will you become a techno-nerd, or a gadget queen?

I think we have almost the exact same phone -- just a few cosmetic differences since mine is for a different carrier. But I think we covered that already. :)

It's my Nokia 6263. LOVE IT!

Thanks Lewis!

I'm a real luddite--I haven't got one and don't want one! I don't like telephones in any form, though I do love the internet and e-mail.

May be a coincidence... BUT as soon as I put a pic. of my Sprint Rumor phone on my blog, blogger "locked" my blog for a _non-detailed_ reason. Bummer!! Hmm...

I really need to get a new cell phone. I'm so behind the times....

I'm not a techie at all, so as long as the phone works, I'm happy. I have a RAZR, I have no idea which version, and while it takes pictures, I still don't know, two years into ownership, how to get the pictures off the phone. I dial numbers, people answer, I'm content.

I hate mine. It's a work-issued Nextel. It's humungous and gives me 5 extra pounds to my body weight when clamped on the belt. The flip part I know will break one of these days.

I used to look at cellphones like the spawn of the devil, but now I can't get off mine! :D
