Condo Life

It's long overdue. But here are pictures of our new condominium. I haven't done any staging or making it look all pretty. Yes, you'll see the dog's collar on the counter and no towels hanging on the bathroom rack. You'll see our desk just the way it is....and the place that this post and all of my blogging occurs. It's au natural....just plain old us. We're really enjoying it. It's pretty simple. Except for this one nagging thing -- hauling the dog's arse up and down three flights of stairs many, many times a day. Ugh. But it is giving these skinny, pale, pasty legs a little workout. I shouldn't complain. He's a wonderful puppy. So, enough. Go and enjoy the photo extravaganza.
Oh, and just one more thing: In the above pic, we are the little small deck on the top floor, 4th from the right side or second from the left side....with the black BBQ grill that you can hardly make out in this pic. It faces east. And right outside of our door is eight wonderful blocks of all kinds of restaurants, fitness center, gift shops, coffee and ice cream, deli sandwiches, a bank, an old local neighborhood market, an antique shop, a bamboo workshop and walking garden, and a ton of other things. It's absolutely perfect. And have I mentioned the view of Mt. Hood from our living room?

It doesn't look like you want stalkers to have any trouble at all finding your home :)

Well Lewis it is absolutely beautiful. You guys sure know how to put together a stylish home. I love all the little surprises of color and the wonderful patterns. I even noticed the towels with 2 different colors on the oven. What a really great home!

It seems so friendly and welcoming, just like you!

that sounds lovely especially the east view with Mt Hood - it would be nice to keep eyes on it.

Wow! Loving the condo :-) You've done it our most tastefully. I'm really loving the tapestry in the living room

very nice... i have to stage mine for photos so you can't see dog hair, two inches of dust, dirty clothes, etc....

Lewis your new home looks great. I like the light wood, your comfy chairs, the kitchen--stove and mini tile backsplash, the general brightness of it all. Where's the baby? Please don't tell me you keep him in a cage all the time. I like the colors too. Did you paint?

Love the kitchen! Makes me wanna
put my 'cooking' skills to the
test.
Fine! My burning, cutting and
stabbing skills to the test :)

Glad you're liking it. I really
wanna move back to an apartment
myself.

Beautiful Lewis... especially because it is au natural! I loved the baby grand! :) The whole home looks warm and full of life!

PS- I LOVED your moon photos! Thanks for sharing those! You must have the camera settings down just so to capture those! I am still learning how to get a good night shot.

And you fit a GRAND PIANO in there???? I'm impressed. Ok, I know it's a baby grand, but still...

Beautiful place. I love the double desk. Actually, I love everything about it.

What is the business there in the corner of the building at the intersection?

Why doesn't anyone ever paint the parking decks? They look so depressing all cement gray like that.

What a heavenly condo! Good to see you're enjoying your new stables (=bad translation of funny Dutch Saying...)
PS: How DARE you look at pretty Dutch roofs and ignore my fine figure...?!
PS2: I live in Nijmegen, which is about a 1.5 hour drive from the Airport, near the German border.

Ta!

Looks like everything is coming along quite nicely. It must be the furniture that is doing it, but the living room looks much bigger than the first photo where nothing had been moved in yet. I love the "wall-hanging" above the fireplace. The kitchen is to die for.

I love the condo, but when you said it was "au natural," I assumed there'd be pics of you and the SO in the buff. Bait and switch!

OMG! a dog collar on the counter? No towels? Ugh.

The Solid Waste dept. has contacted me requesting additional space, so, I guess I won't be miffed. . .
This time.

Lewis, you guys have a great place. Love the Patchwork Quilt - Log Cabin style. Is it something from home?

Thanks for stopping by and signing the Guest book. So nice to know who pops in.
